چکیده
The hunt for environmentally friendly cutting fluids is underway as the problems of conventional become more evident. To achieve conscious machining, current study examines use Mango Kernel Seed Oil (MKSO) a fluid during turning AISI 1525 steel. According to 24 complete factorial techniques, vegetable-oil-based was produced by dissolving four different additives in mango kernel seed oil: emulsifying, antimicrobial, anti-corrosive, and antifoam substances. Afterward, formulated vegetable oil characterized both physically chemically determine its capability. developed MKSO mechanically evaluated using Taguchi L9 orthogonal array. Spindle speed, depth cut, feed rate served input parameters, while surface roughness, temperature, machine sound level, vibration were responses. Taguchi-based Grey Relational Analysis used perform multi-objective optimization. It best machining conditions. parameters are spindle speed 0.683 rev/min, 0.617 mm/rev, cut 0.620 mm, optimum parameter Mineral-Oil-based Cutting Fluid (MOCF) 0.7898 rev/min 0.6483 mm/rev feed, 0.6373 mm cut. This research revealed that, when compared has highest influence on multi-responses operations with fluids. Generally, MOCF outperformed most

Optimization of Process Parameters in Turning of AISI 8620 Steel Using Taguchi and Grey Taguchi Analysis
The aim of this research is to investigate the optimization of cutting parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) for surface roughness and metal removal rate in turning of AISI 8620 steel using coated carbide insert. Experiments have been carried out based on Taguchi L9 standard orthogonal array design with three process parameters namely cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut f...
متن کاملDesign optimization of cutting parameters for turning of AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel using Taguchi method
In the present work Taguchi method is used to optimize cutting parameters during dry turning of AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel with AlTiCrN coated tool. The coating was deposited on fine-grained K-grade (ISO K-20) cemented carbide cutting insert using physical vapor deposition (PVD) technique. The turning parameters evaluated are cutting speed of 200 and 260 m/min, feed rate of 0.20 and 0....
متن کاملPotential of mango (Mangifera indica L.) seed kernel as a feed ingredient for poultry: a review
Mango (Mangifera indica) is an important fruit crop grown in the tropics mostly for its pulp. Mango seed, which represents between 20-60% of the fruit, has limited food or industrial use in most producing countries and is therefore wasted. The kernel contained in the seed (mango seed kernel: MSK) is a good source of carbohydrates (58-80%), contains moderate quantities of proteins (6-13%) and fa...

Nowadays, in order to reach minimum production cost in machining operations, various optimization methods have been proposed. Since turning operation has different parameters affecting the workpiece quality, it was selected as a complicated manufacturing method in this paper. To reach sufficient quality, all influencing parameters such as cutting speed, federate, depth of cut and tool rake angl...
متن کاملMulti-objective optimization in Turning of EN31 steel using Taguchi based grey relational analysis
Machining can be outlined as the process of taking away material from a work piece in the grade of chips. During a machining process, isolated of the energy is turned into heat energy through the detritions yielded between the tool and the work piece and the plastic deformation of the work material in the machining zone. Turning is charmed by several constituents, for example, the cutting speed...
